Ms ETHEL CASPA
FOUNDER/CEO of FOADAC
Ms Ethel N. Caspa, Founder & CEO of FOADAC, has always been a humanitarian at heart, never on a large scale but striving always to do her best. A few years ago a close family member was diagnosed with AIDS. Ethel was devastated, and it became clear to her that she needed to step out of her comfort zone and help – Concretely. When she visited her home country, Cameroon, after staying abroad for a while, she came face to face with the reality of the need to help children. While visiting an orphanage close to where she lives, she was amazed by what she saw - children in need of food, healthcare, housing and an education. The experience was like reaching a mountain top: it was an epiphany that changed her life. She thought to herself: “These children have found themselves in dire straits through no fault of their own. They are victims of disease, social and financial inequalities, which plague the third world.” The message was loud and clear, that something needed to be done, and quickly too! The question that burned in her mind was, "what does God want me to do?" The answer was, "do something; anything within your means; seek help! The children need you!"

When she returned home, (to the USA), she began her usual routine of work, school and life in general. She constantly looked for reasons why it would not be possible for her to help: no funding, time constraints and no resources. Then one day her sister, Judith Caspa Foyabo, (an Ex-Sakerette as well), called to tell her about several social groups that she belonged to, none of which she was able to participate fully. At that moment, Ethel told her she was thinking of helping orphaned children back in our native Cameroon, by registering a non-profit organization. Judith agreed to help her decide on what their focus should and would be, and from that conversation FOADAC was born.

Their desire and goal is to instill hope in the hopeless, to save precious children, and to provide love, comfort and encouragement to children living with pain and hopelessness. Ethel and Judith strongly believe that caring for others as Christians, means sharing their burdens, as exhorted in Galatians 6:2 which states:

"Share each other's burdens, and in this way obey the law of Christ."

God has given them grace and mercy so that we may share it amongst one another. They want to reach out today, understanding full well, that tomorrow might just be too late.

THEIR ACHIEVEMENTS

It has been a daunting task trying to carter for the basic needs of these unfortunate children. They currently have a population of 135 children in five locations, with a staff size of 20 -25 volunteers.
The challenges notwithstanding, and thanks to the kind donations from well-wishers around the world, their achievements since inception have been:
•They have delivered more than 30 baby cribs for new babies.
•They have provided first aid medication to several area dispensaries.
•They have provided basic hospital equipment to 3 healthcare centers in the local area where these orphanages are located.
•They have partnered with Global Health Care Foundation to conduct health fairs for diagnosis and for the provision of generic drugs for common tropical diseases as well as provide free HIV/AIDS testing.
•They have provided educational assistance to about 80 of the 135 children who are currently attending elementary school.
They are currently planning a fundraiser to target the renovation of the dispensary, provide much needed food and back-to-school needs for the upcoming school year.

Mbange Ngaaje's 30th!
Saker Baptist College ascribed Registration Number 2409 to this LADY – in every sense of the word, who has SAKER written all over her! If you think this latter description fits a whole lot of people, then I dare you to unearth another individual whose credentials, like Mrs. MBONI LIFANDA ATOGHO's, include:

-Having an Ex-Sakerette Mother who ALSO TAUGHT at SBC and was part of the world renowned, 1969 Cameroon College Singers' Tour of Canada & the U.S. – Mrs. MIRANDA BELL LIFANDA (Class of 1969)
- Having 2 Ex-Sakerette siblings - Efosi LIFANDA (Class of 2000) and Beboi LIFANDA (Class of 1997)
-Having 2 Ex-Sakerette Sisters-in-law – Mrs. Jessie ATOGHO EKUKOLE (Class of 1978) & Mrs. Barbara ATOGHO TIEDEU (Class of 1982)
-Having an Ex-Sakerette “Mbanyi” – Mrs. Eleanor ETA ATOGHO, (Class of 1983) AND
- Being AN EX-SAKERETTE themselves – Class of 1992!!!!

Significant as ALL that is, MBONI’s “SAKERTUDE”, is NOT the reason why I just lowered the fire under my miondo pot. I did so to free up a little time to scribble a few lines by way of an introduction to the “MIRACLES & WONDERS” this YAOUNDÉ-BASED CEO of BONI'S CLASSY CAKES fashions and serves the nation of Cameroon. I do not know how she would react to the “title”, but I would readily crown her “QUEEN OF THE OVEN”. Why? Because the girl cannot just bake a “common”, plain old cake which even I can do if I pray earnestly and try hard; SHE CAN DECORATE THE DELECTABLE DELIGHT TO THE POINT THAT YOU KNOW FOR A FACT THAT YOU ARE COMMITTING AN UNPARDONABLE SIN WITH EVERY SLICE YOU CUT AND EVERY BITE YOU TAKE!

Since I first laid eyes on just one of her cakes on FACE BOOK, I have done nothing but MARVEL at her CREATIVITY, her ATTENTION TO DETAIL & sheer TALENT! Saying I am THRILLED that she has taken a minute to “Open Up” a little and Showcase her God-imbued prowess on SAKER PRIDE would be quite an understatement! Here she is, in her own words:

LA FAMILIA ...
"Cake decoration is a passion I have harbored for many years. I was fortunate to be born into a family of cake makers, starting with my grandmother. In fact, along with my siblings (boys included), we all learned how to bake from my mother at an early age, though at the time, I can assure you it was not always fun creaming sugar and butter by hand.

I trained and worked as a registered nurse in the UK for several years. Then later went on to attain a Masters degree in Public Health (MPH). This enabled me to work in various capacities within the UK National Health Service (NHS) before I returned to Yaounde, Cameroon to join my husband.

'Boni's Classy Cakes' was born after I made my sister-in-law's (Jessie Ekukole) 50th birthday cake last year. The response was overwhelming and suffice to say that I haven't stopped baking and decorating cakes since...

I am a self taught cake artist. I see the art of cake decoration as an opportunity to express my creative instincts, while making people happy with a bespoke masterpiece which just goes a long way to make that special event memorable."

Monsieur et Madame!
THE VIJOUX SPARKLE!
CARAT & EX-SAKERETTE,
Ms MANYI TAKOR
CEO, VIJOUX
Most of us, women, LOVE and are into “NYANGA”, even if the extent or degree to which we choose to get involved, IMMERSED or even SUBMERGED in it varies. What I have also noticed, is that what matters most, when it comes to this “NYANGA” or “ADORNMENT” thing, varies from person to person. While some would die or kill for a pair of LOUBOUTINS (shoes), others would not mind going barefoot, as long as they had a LOUIS VUITTON purse on their arm. For some, their purse could come straight out of WALMART for all they care, as long as the dress, lappa or maxi they are wearing is “UP SCALE”. For yet some others, everything they wear in the name of accessories could have been purchased from “PAYLESS” or “DOLLAR TREE” as long as their "TIDO", LIP GLOSS & “BABY PANCAKE” are impeccable, right down to the “ROSY CHEEKS” and turquoise eye shadow, on skin even darker than mine. You can scream or snicker “JUJU CALABAR” right in their face, and they would keep bouncing right along, unperturbed!
However, THE ONE THING that practically every woman I know factors in when it comes to “beautifying” herself is JEWELRY! It may be expensive or dirt cheap; bulky or very fine; exclusive or of the “Keep Limbe Clean” category, but they would hardly go past their doorstep without at least EARRINGS. In fact, in most of our cultures, is ear lobe-piercing not done for baby girls when they are barely a week old? Most of us have, therefore, been steeped into the whole “YERRING” thing from day one, and have BOUGHT tons and tons of Jewelry over the years, but then, HOW MANY OF US CAN CLAIM TO HAVE ACTUALLY DESIGNED, CRAFTED, PRODUCED & PROFESSIONALLY MARKETED EXCLUSIVE, FINE JEWELRY? Not many of us, if any at all! That is why Class of 1992’s Ms MANYI TAKOR and her Company, VIJOUX, stand out! Here’s their story:
MANYI founded ViJouX Jewelry in 2011.The name VijouX comes from fusing Victoria (Cameroon; where she grew up) and bijoux, the French word for jewel.
A lover of art from a young age, she was no stranger to drawing and design but it wasn't until 2005 that she first began sketching jewelry design ideas.
It seemed a natural expansion of her talent as she moved from pencil drawings through to charcoal and then paint.

During a break from work in early 2011, she taught herself to wire wrap and began working on some of the designs in her files and after encouraging feedback from family and friends, decided to take her new hobby a little more seriously.

With a catalogue of well over a 1000 design ideas, there is plenty yet to be discovered.
On her sources of inspiration, she says,
"My statement jewelry designs are inspired by my interpretation of everything around me - people, nature, interior design, engineering and architecture.
I love working with wire and playing with different coloured and shaped beads and natural gemstones as accents."

The ViJouX vision is to bring beautifully designed and crafted pieces to jewelry lovers, complimenting the beauty within. With a range from classic to crochet and boho chic, statement jewelry, there is something for everyone. Only a handful of each design are ever crafted and because they are handmade, no two are identical and each piece, truly exclusive.
GODSPEED, My Dear! There's no stopping YOU!!

COOKING IS REAL FUN WITH
"MBAMBA"!!!
Any time I take a Cameroonian or African dish with me to an occasion out here in this Mbeng'a Bakala, the "consumers", - even with runny noses, beet-red faces and their tongues on fire due to the I-thought-I-really-reduced-it PEPPER (My Bad!), invariably ask: "DO YOU MIND SHARING THE RECIPE?" I don't know about anyone else, but that question, for me, is a "formidable" challenge! How in the world do you explain or describe something that is an "ART" you learned from WATCHING your mother, grand mother or aunty do, "BY INSTINCT", to someone else? For most of us, it is "hearing" the SMELL of "Miondo" that tells us it is cooked, not the amount of time it's been on the fire; It is the LOOK of the ripe plantains or the yams that tells us it's time to take the pot off the fire, and we have absolutely no clue how many cups of water, or pinches of salt go into the dishes we prepare! We lick the Cooking Spoon and just decide, spontaneously, whether to add one or two "Maggi"! We feel the consistency of the batter in a bowl and decide to "add small wata"! Increasingly, even our own children, with their busy schedules and very different TEXTING & VIDEO GAME interests, are unable or UNWILLING (helloo-oo!!), to actually learn the art of cooking from us like we did from our forebears! Thank God then, for people like Mrs. BERYL-ANN MBOME TAKOR, who has come up with a well illustrated BLOG with straightforward and uncomplicated directions on how to make the most delectable dishes, from "PUFF-PUFF" & "POULET DJ", to "MBONGO CHOBI", CORN CHAFF & COLE SLAW!

EMERALD DELITES
FRUITS & VEGGIES LIKE YOU'VE NEVER SEEN THEM PRESENTED BEFORE!!
"I started FRUIT CARVING as a hobby in 2009. I have always loved designing. I have always loved to sketch designs for dresses, homes, flowers, invitations and anything else that comes to mind. Besides carving, my other hobbies are singing, (of course), event planning and cooking.
I am a public health pharmacist with education from Yale University school of public health and Albany College of pharmacy. I did my undergraduate degree in Biochemistry and Chemistry from Lehman College/City University of New York. And since Government Nursery School, Buea is celebrating its 50th Anniversary this year, (2014), I guess I should add that I graduated from there. In fact, I delivered our graduation speech, and also the speech  on the occasion of Dr. Nwana’s send off during the 3rd term holidays. I still have a copy of the speech for Dr. ELIAS NWANA, in what I believe is Late Mrs. Nkuku Nwigwe’s handwriting. Actually, I still have my GNS report card, thanks to my parents who kept every record intact as if they knew they would leave early."

Little Helen was committed to Singing even before she got to Saker Baptist College, as her issued-in-1983 Presbyterian Church Buea Station, "Getsemane" Choir Card above indicates! She was in Class 4 Primary School when she joined the choir!
Picture Above shows Government Nursery School Buea's STUDENT #940, on the day she delivered the Speech posted on the far right, from memory. By the way, it was her older sister Joyce's responsibility to take her
to the ministry of education to practice with Mrs. Nwigwe who was the Inspector of Education at the time.
Dr. Helen Ashuntantang was kind enough to comply with SakerPride's request for the documents mentioned above, and so here they are, posted below. Please note that there is a PROFILE for Late Mrs. Nkuku Nwigwe on the ALMANAC page of this website,

FOOD & HEALTH ACCORDING TO ...
Mrs. TERESE ENDELEY TANDE
CEO - MAKMOKS FOODS
When it comes to food, Cameroonians, like other Africans living in the Diaspora, face two major challenges. On the one hand, they miss and yearn for the delicious African foods that remind them of home. On the other hand, they face a constant battle trying to avoid the health ravages caused by the fast-paced, no-time-to-rest life with its fast food culture that leads to poor eating habits.
Well, there is someone in our community has been attempting to address both challenges particularly for Cameroonians living in the States. She is none other than Class of 1999's Terese Endeley Tande. A few years ago, she decided to create a cook-on-order and catering service which specializes in African foods. She named it MakMoks Foods – a combination of the first three letters of the names of her two sons, Makane and Mokali; two real African US-born boys who would rather have Fufu and Eru any day than a Big Mac. A sample of some of the dishes prepared by MakMoks Foods is available online at: http://www.flickr.com/photos/makmoksfoods/sets/

But wait! Terese, who has a Public Health degree from Northern Illinois University in Chicago with a focus on Health Promotion, is also a health activist and wellness advocate who recently launched "COOKING WITH TERESE", a cooking show that will be airing on her YouTube channel at:  http://www.youtube.com/user/TereseTande

The show focuses on how to cook healthy but tasty foods that are so unlike the bland health foods that we find on supermarket shelves. As she rightly puts it, eating healthy should not be boring and unpleasant!

Terese is also experimenting with making African foods that are low in calories and fat while still maintaining their original African flavor. She is also working on a cooking book.
So, are you interested in having some Kwakoko “bible”, Egusi pudding, Koki Corn, etc., for your next meal? Do you need an African and/or healthy catering service for your next party? Guess what? MakMoks is there for you!
Or, do you simply want tips on how to eat healthy and tasty without too much time and effort? Then reach out to Terese in person for one-on-one sessions or check out her YouTube channel.

Here's who and what she is, (in a nutshell), in her own words:
"I am a budding Film maker, independently producing & directing a 12 episode series of Travel & Adventure shorts. I was born in Buea, Cameroon and lived between Buea, Douala and Limbe until I was about 12/13 years old. I moved to Atlanta, Ga where I grew up. A career opportunity in Biotech & Pharmaceuticals brought me to San Diego, CA two years ago. I have been involved in Independent (mostly) and big budget film since 2008. I pursued my career in Pharmaceutical Development because I also enjoy that work and saw it as a way to finance a small part of my own dreams. I have an incredibly supportive family, but did not want to place that burden on them. I am now ready to balance the two & move full speed ahead."

SO, WHAT'S JA'NU ALL ABOUT & WHAT ARE HER PLANS FOR THE FUTURE?
"'Ja'anu' is the Bakweri (My tribe in Buea) expression for 'Come here'. Embarrassed at how little I know of African countries outside of my native Cameroon (and even with that, I have a lot of work to do), I was inspired to start educating myself on the broad history of the continent. In visiting some of these other countries, I was blown away by the beauty and the rich, colorful history of the people that met me.

There is no perfect place on this earth, we all have our various issues we are ironing out, but there is also so much positivity, and these stories are worth being told. They are worth being told, and told in a way that is engaging, informative and would inspire people who may never have considered doing so to leave their comfort zones and come to Africa. Pick a country, any country. There are over fifty. Read up on it, and just GO. This particular long term goal will take a bit more time & support from more established Production Companies.
I am currently covering areas around the world (including African countries) on JANU for my shorts, because I want to begin with places that I know people already know about and want to go to - in order to get their attention. 'JANU with Eposi' is a 12 episode season, with one short, 6 minute episode released per month.

I understand that in order to gain the confidence of the powers that be (read: Production Companies) who could make my long term ambitions possible, I must demonstrate that I am capable of doing the things I hope to do on a smaller scale. I must show that I am willing and able to (at least try to) be excellent. I hope I get the opportunity. I'm getting ready now so I'll be ready if this all works out."

Mrs. FESE MBONGO HAMILTON (Class of 1979)
THE AFRO-BRIT WHO KNOWS ALL ABOUT "AFROPEAN" HOME DECOR!
http://www.fesdesigns.com/
Class of 1979's FESE HAMILTON nee MBONGO, describes herself as a true ‘AFROBRIT’. That in my eyes, is a pretty apt description, given that her Dad, the Late Dr. MBONGO, (the eminent dentist to whom I owe the existence of the few molars I do have left), was Cameroonian, that her mother is Nigerian, that she is married to Mr. Plummer Hamilton who is Sierra Leonean and also that she was born, has been educated and lived the better part of her adult/working life in Great Britain!
Here's how the wife and mother of 2 exceptional children explains how FesDesigns came into being:
" I love and embrace all things beautiful from Africa and the Western world. I am passionate about beautiful homes, clothing, shoes, jewelry, art, gardens;" {If you got to meet her even for just a couple of hours, you would acknowledge this to be true!!}

"FesDesigns started as an idea in my head about 2 years ago when I couldn't find affordable,  good quality, African home decor pieces for my own home. THE HAMILTONS - Mom, Dad & Children!
CLASS OF 1978's STUDENT #929 is a TRUSTEE of ExSSA-UK, and the PROJECT LEADER/COORDINATOR of its "STEPPING IN THE LIGHT" Project which is responsible for the AMAZING FACE LIFT which SAKER BAPTIST COLLEGE's Food & Nutrition Lab recently underwent! (Full Story posted on this website at: http://www.sakerpride.com/PROJECT.html) Last Month - October 2016, she was in MAGADI, KENYA and anyone who knows anything about Lady JENNET KOKOVI BODYLAWSON KALE would know that the purpose of such a trip would NOT primarily be recreational!

She traveled to MAGADI to open an Educational Resource sponsored/built in memory of of her illustrious husband, Late BARRISTER SAMUEL MEANO KALE, by his colleague and friend Mr. Jon Alexander from the Corporate Division of the Lloyds Banking Group in London and on behalf of the MEMUSI FOUNDATION. (http://www.memusifoundation.org.uk/This Foundation for which Mr. Alexander is a Trustee, supports a fantastic and worthy sustainable educational and community-based project there in Kenya. Sister Kokovi Kale was, indeed, privileged to join in the opening ceremony of the newly constructed educational resource/classroom which, as the pictures in the Album show, has so very appropriately been christened "FRIENDSHIP"!

WHY then do the pictures show Lady Kale clad in her ExSSA-UK "STEPPING IN THE LIGHT" Project tee-shirt???? Well, that's because she was also sponsored on the trip by ExSSA-UK's  President, Ms IRENE TAMAJONG!!! You are certainly at liberty to believe whatever you believe, and so am I, and I do NOT think it is a "coincidence" or "surprise" that "MAMA KALE", (as the Masai Students of the school refer to her), got there and found out that  the motto of the school is "ARISE AND SHINE, FOR YOUR LIGHT HAS COME"!!!! (Isaiah 60:1) And if you think Sister J.K. KALE missed the GOLDEN opportunity to talk about SBC , the Nutrition Lab and promoting Girls Education, it is possible that your mind is way too preoccupied with the outcome of today's U.S. Presidential Elections!!! (LOL!) You better believe she told the story LOUD & CLEAR, till it resonated and reverberated  high o'er the hills of MAGADI, in the Kenya Rift Valley of the Masai Tribe!!!!!

What a story of Friendship; a story of Gratitude for the Brief but Impacting & Well-Spent Life of a MAN; a story of the undying DEVOTION & DEDICATION of a DYNAMIC WIFE and a Story that underscores the value of taking time to spread a little bit of Love and kindness which, as the song playing in the background aptly states, is the recipe for making the world A HAPPY PLACE!!!
IN CLASS OF 1978's LADY KALE'S OWN WORDS ...

Yes - It was a heart warming trip and experience.
In 2016, children still trek for up to 3 or more miles to attend school - maongo ooo !!!
The number of them married in their teens is mind boggling - just looking at them made my heart sink.
As for the goat and cow herders - as young as 6/7 years old.????
Glad to say however that the oldest boy in the "friendship" class is aged 14 yrs (Equivalent of class 4!!!!), and is willing to learn !! The best thing is that the parents are now allowing girls to attend school!!!
And from about 10 children - mostly boys - at its inception, the school now boasts 200 plus happy smiling children of equal mix - fantastic and commendable achievement.!! As for their singing? - the high pitch solos and dance cannot be matched -
I found myself singing this hymn over and over ....
"Spread a little bit of love & kindness, never go around with hatred's blindness
Take a little time to reach for joy and wear a happy face 😋
Sing a little bit when the days are dreary, give a little help to a friend that's needy, that's the way to make the world a happy place xxx

One thing you should know is that YOU TOO can certainly change the EDUCATE A GIRL CHILD mantra from a mere SLOGAN to a palpable REALITY, through this same MEMUSI FOUNDATION. Sponsoring a "GIRL CHILD" takes little more than A CLICK right here!!!!

CLASS OF 1994's BELTHA YAHYAH FONJONG aka TEHILLAH (#2720)
POISED TO TAKE THE GOSPEL RECORDING ARTIST WORLD BY STORM!!!
Beltha in her SBC CHOIR Uniform
back in the day!
She features in Saker Baptist College's Student Records as YAHYAH BELTHA MUNJI, Student #2720 and as the picture above shows, she was a vibrant part of the school's choir in her day. It is therefore no surprise that she went on to sing in various church choirs since she left SBC; Many SAKERETTES have done the same. The difference is that she finally decided to venture into the more exclusive world of GOSPEL MUSIC RECORDING ARTISTS by recording a CD, any of whose 8 songs will definitely prompt you to ask the question I asked her: "WHAT TOOK YOU SO LONG?????"!!!
Well, (THANKFULLY), TODAY, SATURDAY AUGUST 19 2017 will mark the day a too long-deprived world finally gets a chance to enjoy her God-given, unquestionable Musical Talent, given that she will be officially LAUNCHING HER FIRST ALBUM, "BRAND NEW MAN" at SPRINGDALE CHURCH OF THE NAZARENE in CINCINNATI, OHIO, at 6:00 p.m.!!!!
I know you are already asking the next set of questions I asked her, which is WHERE, WHEN and HOW can we purchase the CDs??
Of course you can get a copy if you are BLESSED to make it to Cincinnati, today-today! The rest of us will have to wait till it becomes available ONLINE, in the VERY NEAR FUTURE!!! (YOU BET, THE LINK WILL BE POSTED RIGHT HERE THE INSTANT IT IS MADE AVAILABLE!!! Nothing else left to say right now but GODSPEED, Dear BELTHA and KUDOS for keeping the SBC GOSPEL MUSIC FLAG FLYING PROUDLY HIGH!!!!

AUTHOR INTERVIEW

WI: Tell us a little bit about your story, Women Who Soar.

LN: My book Women Who Soar is about how ordinary women can challenge the status quo, the roadblocks, the gender discrimination we experience which holds us back from being our authentic selves by learning from the stories of the women included in the book. It is about women learning how to create financial stability for themselves and other women in their communities. It is about women using their God-given skills and talents to break out of the box of prescribed societal norms to design their own lives. It is about women being allies of other women as opposed to rivals, competitors which were the old paradigm. It is about men and
women working together to fight against gender discrimination acknowledging that women’s right is human’s right. It is about us all as humans recognizing that we all suffer when women are discriminated against and we cheat ourselves and the world from the contributions women can make. It is about emphasizing the power and effect of women’s contributions in society if given equal opportunities as men as stated in this old adage: Give a man a fish, and he eats for a day. Teach a man to fish and he eats for a lifetime. But teach a woman to fish, and everyone eats for a lifetime.

When you're born the only daughter of someone as dynamic and as well known Class of 1974's MELISSA NDINGE NAMBANGI, one of 2 things is likely to happen:
You grow up feeling "intimidated" and "overshadowed" and overwhelmed by your mother's achievements OR those same accomplishments serve as a WORTHY EXAMPLE that motivate, inspire and propel you into "doing likewise" or even better!

Judging by what CLASS OF 1997's LABELLE NAMBANGI has already accomplished so far as an ACTIVIST, a Girl's Empowerment COMMUNITY ORGANIZER and then, now, as an AUTHOR, ("WOMEN WHO SOAR" is her very first book), she clearly falls in the latter category.

She launched this new, TRENDING, book on May 10 2018 in Minnesota, and has been on featured on a slew of TV STATIONS and SOCIAL MEDIA OUTLETS as a result.
This is as good a time as any, to mention the fact that one of the "SOARING WOMEN" mentioned in the book is another SAKERETTE - Mrs. TERESE (TEE) TANDE who has made great strides in the field of NUTRITION, using her widely viewed CRTV show to promote a HEALTHY, but NOT drab and dreary diet that is realistic and sustainable.

WISE INK INTERVIEWED THE YOUNG AUTHOR and here is an excerpt that sheds light on what her book "WOMEN WHO SOAR" is all about:
With Founder and CEO at "Venerable Women" an entity that inspires women to transform our world starting with themselves.
With supportive Class of 1985's DADA MASSANGO at the May 10 2018  Book Launch in Minnesota
With Proud Mom, Class of 1974's Ms Melissa Nambangi.
Like Mother, Like Daughter!
Class of 1999's TERESE ENDELEY TANDE, who is featured in the book.

Well before the SATURDAY, JULY 28 2018 WEDDING DATE itself arrived, his Facebook post by the Sister-Of-The-Groom - SAKERETTE-CARAT, NAOMI MOUSSA heralded what was to come, pretty well:
“... We are blessed to have a new wife, A beautiful sister in Law.... Ladies and Gentlemen our only brother, Our Master Lawrence is off the Market! We are sooo proud and Happy of the Wonderful Husband he will make!!!!
Well then, W-DAY arrived, and, as the just posted PHOTO ALBUM attests, said MASTER LAWRENCE and his GORGEOUS BRIDE, CLASS OF 2003's JUDITH BAYANDE MBONGO both went "OFF THE MARKET" in keeping with TRADITION, in accordance with the LAW, and with GOD'S STAMP and SEAL on the whole deal!
Of course, A DELEGATION OF CLASS OF 1977 PLUCKIES was right there beside their MOTHER-OF-THE-GROOM CLASSMATE, Ms LOIS EBENYE IKOME, to witness it all, as was the AUNTY-OF-THE-GROOM, CLASS OF 1970's HONORABLE GLADYS ETOMBI IKOME.
